Read MoreAdler Planetarium announces the opening of Other Worlds, a new permanent exhibition that explores planetary bodies throughout the universe from the familiar to the extreme including gas giants, ice giants, super Earths, rocky worlds and more. Travel beyond our solar system to learn about the more than 5,000 discovered exoplanets that orbit around other stars and get a new perspective on the planets closest to ours. Other Worlds encompasses around 6,500 feet of exhibit space and replaces the iconic Our Solar System gallery, which first opened to the public in 2012.
