Time to Dance Hosts 3rd Annual “Tea Time to Dance” Fundraiser

The Board of Time to Dance and co-founders Dr. Chervony Belsky and Lisa Gold will host a celebration of the joy of movement for a great cause at the third annual “Tea Time to Dance” fundraiser at Highland Park Community House, 1991 Sheridan Road, Highland Park, Illinois, Sunday, October 20 at 1:30 p.m. The event will give guests an opportunity to don their best hat or fascinator and savor an afternoon tea with light fare while bidding on silent auction items; listening to live music;  enjoying entertaining performances by the TTD dance ensemble and more. Proceeds benefit Time to Dance to help further their mission of enriching the health and quality of life for adults aged 50 and up through dance and performance.

Says Gold, “An afternoon tea is traditionally a special occasion featuring refreshments in a relaxing setting and the chance to show off your favorite finery…and that fits the description of ‘Tea Time to Dance,’ to a tee.” “Our mission is based on the premise that that structured dance has direct benefits to those who participate,” adds Belsky, “so we will also offer guests the chance to try their hand (or foot) at some fun dance moves that day as well!”

Tickets for “Tea Time to Dance” are $55. For tickets or more info visit time-to-dance.org or teatimetodance.rsvpify.com.
