Milwaukee’s Festival City Symphony Presents “Festival Carols & Bells,” Holiday Pajama Jamboree, a Free Family-Friendly Concert
Milwaukee’s Festival City Symphony is inviting families, classical music lovers, and children of all ages to its annual Holiday Pajama Jamboree on Wednesday, December 4, 2024, at 7:00 p.m. in the Bradley Pavilion of the Marcus Performing Arts Center. This free, 1-hour family-friendly concert has become a beloved holiday tradition, celebrating the sounds of the season with timeless classics and festive favorites.
This year’s “Festival Carols & Bells” performance promises a festive evening filled with kid-friendly music and the heartwarming spirit of the holidays. The concert will feature a grand sing-along finale of Leroy Anderson’s “A Christmas Festival” to further elevate the holiday mood.
Designed for children in K4 through fifth grade, the Pajama Jamboree welcomes all young-at-heart audience members. The Symphony’s series showcase lively, interactive performances, including narration and music selections that tell stories, highlight the colors of the orchestra, and often feature guest artists like local children’s performing groups.
Audience members are invited to wear their favorite PJs and bring blankets and teddy bears to snuggle with during the event. With both open-floor seating and traditional seating available, the casual atmosphere is perfect for enjoying an evening of fun and music with the entire family. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. No tickets or reservations are required.
During this holiday season, the Festival City Symphony encourages all attendees to bring a nonperishable food donation for Milwaukee’s Hunger Task Force
