Andersonville’s Farmers Market to Return this May
The 16th annual Andersonville Farmers Market (AFM) will return on Wednesdays from 3 – 7 pm from May 14 – October 22, 2025 on Catalpa Ave. between Clark St. and Ashland Ave. Featuring more than 30 vendors, everything sold at the Andersonville Farmers Market is grown or produced within a 200-mile radius, offering the community access to fresh, local food. A full list of 2025 vendors will be announced shortly. The 24-week market will feature an expanded roster of sustainability programming for all ages and will also continue to feature entertainment, with weekly performances, cooking demos and dedicated kids’ activities.
Seasonal Vendor applications are currently being accepted through Monday, March 10, 2025. The market will also feature Pop Up Vendor booths this season, offering vendors an opportunity to “pop up” on selected dates. Pop Up Vendor applications are currently being accepted through Monday, March 24, 2025.
The market continues its popular Link matching program, featuring a one-to-one match for Link card holders with vouchers good for fresh fruits and vegetables. Link Up Illinois is making healthy, local, farm-fresh foods more affordable and accessible by doubling the value of Link purchases at farmers markets, farm stands, food co-ops and independent grocery and corner stores across Illinois. Link Up Illinois is a program of Experimental Station. For additional information, visit www.linkupil.org.
